Mental Health Week 2021 is shaping up to be the biggest held in Bunbury yet.
The theme for Mental Health Week 2021 is “Mental Health Starts with our Children” and consortium members have lots of events planned supporting parents and children for the week’s events which starts in Bunbury with the State launch of Mental Health Week with a family fun day at Big Swamp on Saturday 9 October from 1pm
The members of the Bunbury Mental Health Week consortium have a week long program covering everything from yoga and craft sessions, water based activities, singing groups, community walks to more confronting activities such as education sessions about family relationships, carers support, suicide awareness and bereavement
There are over 40 activities happening in Bunbury this year between 10 and 15 October which is our most active program of events in the time we have been organising mental health week activities in Bunbury. It is really wonderful that the Western Australia Association for Mental Health has chosen Bunbury for the State launch which gives us the opportunity to showcase to our local community the wonderful support available in Bunbury
The Bunbury program of activities will be launched at a public event on the lawns of BRAG on Monday 11 October at 5pm with light refreshments and a talk by the inspirational Ben Aldridge of 30 foot drop prior to the opening of the Mental Health Week Art Exhibition at the Gallery. This is a public event and everyone is welcome
